LRC58, LRC78 (XPM78)

The LRC58 design emerged in 2013. Dennis Harjamaa, the designer, built the first one called Koti (Finnish for home) for himself and by himself. The first four LRC58’s have covered tens of thousands of nautical miles already and the twin-engine LRC58-5 has splashed in April.

After a long and intensive process of designing the LRC78 (or better named XPM78) design saw the light in 2016. XPM78-01 called Mobius has been constructed at Naval Yachts, Antalya, Turkey, and has splashed in March. The owners, Wayne and Christine, report regularly on the build of their eXtreme expedition Passage Maker at their very informative site mobius.world.
