LRC58, LRC78 (XPM78)

The LRC58 design emerged in 2013. Dennis Harjamaa, the designer, built the first one called Koti (Finnish for home) for himself and by himself. The first four LRC58’s have covered ten of thousands of nautical miles already and the twin-engine LRC58-5 is under construction at Aluboot, Hindeloopen, The Netherlands.

After a long and intensive process of designing the LRC78 (or XPM78) design saw the light in 2017. The first XPM78 called Mobius is currently being constructed at Naval Yachts, Antalya, Turkey. The prospective owners, Wayne and Christine, report weekly of the build of their eXtreme expedition Passage Maker at the very informative site mobius.world.
