Choice of yards,
and build time

Artnautica has four yards that can build an LRC or XPM: Aluboot (aluboot.nl) in Hindeloopen, and Habbeke (habbeke.nl) in The Netherlands, Naval Yachts (navalyachts.com) in Antalya, Turkey, and Dickey Boats (dickeyboats.com) in Napier, New Zealand.

Aluboot (“Aluboat”), with over 45 years of experience, specializes in building privately owned sailing and motor yachts, the hulls of which are entirely aluminum. The company has also built over 20 lifeboats for the Dutch SAR organization KNRM.

Aluboot is a full-service yard, which means that every part of the LRC/XPM is constructed to order in-house.

Habbeké Shipyard, established in 1966, has more than fifty-five years of experience in quality shipbuilding. The wharf is built exclusively in aluminum and enjoys an excellent innovation, quality, and service reputation.

Naval Yachts is a full-service yard that specializes in aluminum yacht building. It focuses on innovative, green, technology-based building processes.

If someone wants to build in New Zealand, the designer handles the build preparation since he currently resides in Auckland.

Artnautica Europe will accompany a build in Europe. Our network has several professionals that can perform regular build visits and/or project management.

When an LRC/XPM build is well prepared, it should take no more than 14-16 months for an LRC58 build and 16-18 months for an LRC65 build. Depending on the complexity of the resulting design, build times for the XPM78 and XPM85 may vary, but a build can take up to twenty-two months on average.
